The year started with many Queensland customers extremely cautious as to what business would be available and many, if not most, found that while not buoyant there was work available, depending on the market segment that the customer targeted.
Jeff and Tony continued to operate alone with Tony concentrating on Planit Cabinet Vision and Jeff concentrating on Manager Software as well as Consulting work revolving around improving businesses based around Manager Software.
As the year progressed, business was picking up and customers were reporting more consistent and growing volumes of work, while still not brilliant. It became obvious in July that Jeff and Tony could not continue working extended hours to get work completed and so the decision was made to look for a suitable person to employ.
Twelve months after the inaugural Business to Business Seminar in Airlie Beach, Internetit held the 2010 Business to Business Seminar in Cairns in September. A total of 64 people from existing and potential customers attended the Seminar as well as Planit staff from Sydney, Perth and New Zealand. Customer comments were very positive regarding the seminar information and of the new initiatives being undertaken which will come in to full effect in January.
Garry Thoroughgood commenced with Internetit in September. His first day on the job was at the Seminar in Cairns. He was thrown straight in to the deep end and with the help of very good customers, he survived. Since then, Garry has held training sessions with many customers as well as providing support services.
2010 has seen many customers upgrade their Planit products, new customers getting Planit for the first time and many new Manager customers coming on board. Internetit is looking forward to 2011 and being able to provide a much higher level of service than has been possible in the last two years.
