Modify Wall Length, Height and Soffit Height via Elevation View
All levels of Solid 2011 R1 will allow users to change the length, height and soffit height of walls when in Elevation view. This feature is great for quick changes on the fly.
Configure Mortice & Tennon via the Assembly Wizard
Solid now allows users to configure Mortice & Tennon machining methods via the Assembly Wizard. This allows the user total control of the operations and tolerances.
Material Schedule Enhancements
Material Schedules have been enhanced to allow users to make changes and update all schedules in just a few clicks. Handles can now be rotated via the Material Schedule giving users greater control and minimising setup time.
Solid 2011 R1 includes several enhancements to rendering. Textures now stick when you rotate the drawing in render mode. New and improved default wood grain textures are available. Photo Vision users will notice significant improvements to lighting.
No Build Warning Interruptions
The status bar menu will display any Build Warnings that are currently active. Simply click this option to bring up the Message Log to view the active Build Warnings. This means you can continue drawing and attend to the warnings at a more suitable time.
Specify line boring “by opening” via the Assembly Wizard

Parametrically driven constraints for Solid Ultimate Users
Solid Ultimate now allows users to apply constraints to the shape of cabinets and parts. This allows any shape to be parametrically controlled, giving the user total control of how a shape stretches.
