Lidcombe Tafe - Allied Timber Trades
Lidcombe Tafe's Allied Timber Trade utliises the latest technology to give their students the best environment to learn in, and provide the skills to be successful out in the industry. Lidcombe Tafe currently has Cabinet Vision installed across their 3 Computer labs as part of new Workshop, which includes machines from Biesse, Gabett's and Homag.
The centre offers a wide range of cources including:
- Cabinetmaking for Furniture
- Cabinetmaking for Kitchens and Bathrooms
Grand Junction Trade Training Centre
The Grand Junction Trade Training Centre at St Paul’s College is a modern state of the art vocational education and training (VET) facility that opened in 2011 to provide quality training to senior secondary students.
The centre delivers courses from a variety of endorsed training packages in the building and construction industry in partnership with MTC Training (RTO). The Centre has Cabinet Vision and Screen-to-Machine installed in the computer labs for students to learn on.
The centre is a joint initiative between St Paul’s College, Rostrevor College, Kildare College and Blackfriars Priory School, but also provides services to many other non-government and government schools throughout the metropolitan area.
Victoria University offers a unique, modern and flexible approach to trades training. We provide a partnership for skills development between the apprentice, employer and the VU team for the flexible delivery of an apprenticeship. Victoria Uni currently utilitise Cabinet Vision and Screen-to-Machine installed in their new workshop for cabinet making and joinery.
FIAA has a variety of training programs available, clients are able to select a program that specifically meets their workplace or personal requirements. FIAA utilities Cabinet Vision to assist with their Training Programs, including onsite training for apprenticeships and traineeships, and recognition programs for experience workers needing qualifications. FIAA provides training in Cabinet Making and Furniture Making.
